Why this Homepage?
Inspired by the course in the summerterm 2007 called "Perfomativity, Interactivity, Computer Art - a bouquet of creations and explorations" at the University of the Arts (HFK), Bremen, Germany in the studyprogram of Digital Media by Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Frieder Nake, we were assigned to choose an artist out of a list (link?). Luckily I stumbled over Kristin Lucas and her work. It was very hard to find any sources about her work and to investigate simply anything concrete on her.
So what you will find on this Homepage will be my personal Hommage to Kristin Lucas, whose work is like a paper chase, full of hints and clues to other references in our world.
news: My essay got accepted for the ISEA 2008 in Singapore. I had to heavily shorten it without any review. I was a bit angry about it, but I did my best. I also just received some sponsorship in order to be able to go there. Slowly but surely wins the race.
news: September, 03 ... finally, my essay. It was painful and seemed neverending. But now it is finished.
news: July, 26 ... I just discovered more material on K. Lucas. I do not know if I was blind, but there is finally some audio-visual stuff: checkout http://www169.pair.com/klucas/archive/, e.g. Projects (completed) I will include the new material as references into my site soon, of course. I am happy to find it, but maybe this should have happened much earlier!!!
